1. KALESA
A kalesa also known as calesa, carromata, or caritela in Philippine Spanish, it's a two-wheeled horse drawn carriage. It was a primary mode of public and private transportation during the Spanish era. It is commonly painted and decorated. In modern times they serve as tourist attractions.
2. TRAIN
There are three transit lines operated in the country the (PNR) Philippine National Railway, Light Rail Transit and Metro Railway. This is currently use as transportation in Metro Manila and the nearby province of Laguna as well as a commuter service in the provinces.
3. TRICYCLE
A vehicle similar to bicycle, but having three wheels, one at the front and two at the back. It is mostly use as public or private transportation in the rural areas in the Philippines. 4 to 5 persons can ride in it.

This type of transportation is commonly use in the Philippines because it is very convenient, less hassle but it is prone to accidents because of heavy traffic in the country. It has the limit of 1 to 2 passengers.
6. VAN
Van is usually use as shuttle service in the different companies. Popular van in the Philippines are the likes of the Hyundai, Toyota Hiace, Nissan and many more. Toyota Hiace GL Grandia 2019 is the best van in the country. It cost 1.5-2.8Million Pesos.
7. JEEPNEY
It is the most popular public transportation in the Philippines including Buses. Jeepneys sometimes called as Jeep. They are known for their crowded seating and has a unique designs. Philippines only has this kind of jeepneys it also symbolizes as the national image for the Filipinos.
8. BICYCLES
Before the COVID-19 Pandemic strikes, bicycles are not commonly use in the Philippines because there is no bike lane in the highways. A lot has changed during the pandemic, no available transportations because of social distancing protocols. So, majority of the Filipinos use or bought bicycles as a transportation.
9. BUSES
Buses are commonly use as public transportation in the Philippines. There are different type of Buses within the Philippines, namely provincial buses, city buses and P2P or Point-to-Point buses.
10. TAXI
Taxis are the most expensive public transportation in the Philippines. It is commonly use in the cities specifically in Metro Manila. Manila has the most number of taxi transportation especially in the airport.
